| I posted no lies about your machine shop. Fred is part owner in your shop and I am familiar with your financial history; of course you took care of that. The issue with Mike's motor deal is this: 1). You didn't tell him. That should have been your first step. If you felt that giving him new parts was such a plus, you and I both know you would have told him he had new parts. Also, if Mike got new parts someone who paid for new parts got old parts. (This is the main reason I paid you $210 to disassemble the motor so I could verify that it was mine). 2). You did the motor in two days. Mike did not take the motor back to Austin to put 1,000 miles on it (as you posted earlier), we took it straight to the dyno and tuned it in. That motor was fresh and saw big boost and high rpms on the dyno. I will be getting the full scoop on the cause of the bearing failure, the machine shop will start working on that next week. At this point, I can only confirm that it was not detonation. My question is this: If I didn't abuse the motor, broke it in correctly, etc., and it knocked after 7 pulls, what possible question could you have in your mind that it could be anything other than a machine shop error???? B.
